Mack Superliner With E9 Pulling A Heavy Load

Recommended Posts

This awesome video is of an Australian V8 Superliner pulling what is said to be a 140 tonne vessel. Total weight of that combination is 205 metric tonnes which is 451,947 pounds!!! Too bad the E9 is no longer in production. Imagine the USA Titan powered by one of those beasts.

And here are a few bonus clips of other E9 powered Macks!

Not sure but you can ask the guy who posted them as I believe he works for them or owns them. Seriously though that Superliner puts any Peterbilt or Kenworth to shame.

Mrs Knobby here,

I work the weighbridge at the wheat silo,

My brother-in-laws superliner used to grosse 130 tonne, with a payload of 100 tonne of grain. (road train, 2 trailers)

Sadly the Roads and Traffic Authority now have the power to access the weighbridge computers, so overloading the wheat trucks is fondly remembered as part of The Good Old Days
