Towards the end of the gaser era Mack used Chrysler gas engines. Were these engines superior in some ways to IH, white, Continental ,ford etc. I remember the 318 (a relatively small displacement engine} used to power buses and med duty trucks quite successfully. Somebody on this site mentioned that the Chrysler engines were much beefier than the small block chevies. :twothumbsup:
