MACKTRUCKS4 Posted February 2, 2013 Share Posted February 2, 2013 A friend of mine had his 2006 Granite in my shop to do a turbo and injector upgrade, and I noticed with the hood open there is 4 dimples about 8 inches apart on both sides of the cowl where an air cleaner might mount. In the same area as the R-models have them. I have never seen a Granite with outside air cleaners or are these made for something else? rsb502 Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Yeah I pondered those too, since its a universal cab it could be anything for any other truck, CH,CV,CL,CX, you get the picture. They hadn't started with the titan then so that's not it, I never figured it out, always thought it was for hood stops, or alignment on another truck model.
