roadusercharges Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Evening guys,The air vent on my superdog has a reasonable amount of rust around it, I can remake the steel bits but before i remove it from the roof and maybe bugger up something, has anyone removed one of these?, It appears to be held in place by a rubber moulding similar to the back window. Lmackattack Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 I just removed one from a wrecked R model last month the top of the cab was bent up badly and it came out with no tools. I simply just pulled if free from the rubber weather strip. Barry Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 Yep, it should be a gasket the same as the back glass or wind shield. Just pull out the lock strip and it should be ready to pop right out!
