BOB DINGSDALE Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 Looking through my july/august 1975 magazine I found a article on a AUTOCAR model DC9964U off-set cab.Has any one seen one back east?Model in book shows a dump truck with Cummins PT 270 high torque rise engine,Fuller TO955ALL trans,SUDD rears,on Hendrickson rubber blocks,FL-931 front axle,Ross HF64B power steering.Has Fruehauf dump box.Question for the Autocar experts?Were there very many made and is there any left.Nice looking truck. Joe Ditchkus Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 Bob there is still one operating in my area as a tri-axle dump. I think it has a 270 or 290 Cummins with 8ll and 44,000 rears.
