Here is one of the last R models that Pike owns. 1984 bought new by Randy Pike for his company Kieth Construction. This truck is like new. Well maybe not the bumper.

Here is another one. 1988 R690S bought new. Never used in the winter. That's what really saves these old trucks in Vt.

Yep, that salt really gets em'. Thats nice they never used it in winter. Thats pretty much why the cab is shot on my U, they used it in winter.

these trucks being in the construction industry has saved them. Now your truck was used in the goods and service industry and needed to be run all year round and I bet was bought and paid for ten times over compared to any new truck. You can definitely say you have a true survivor.

Ya, I guess she is a survivor. I always wonder where all the other U models that were ordered right with mine went.
