Front Axle Brakes

Hi All,

I would like to install brakes on the front axle of my B61, but wonder if it will be easier to find the backing plates and drums for my axle (axle FA5071) or to swap out the axle with one from a early R model or other make and model?

1. Are any of the backing plates and drums from a R model interchangeable?

2. Have any of you done an axle swap from a R model or other?

3. Any sources for parts numbers?
