Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Im new to the this forum and I love the site. I am hoping that someone here can help me. My Dad used to drive for a company here in NW Pennsylvania. He hade a red 1976ish R model with a 325 V8. Does anyone here know where I can find a picture of any other V8 R models from around that era? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That one looks a lot like my dads truck. He drove for a company called Motter and Guth in Marble Pa. His was solid red, straight 5 speed. When it came in, his bosses let him add a bunch of chrome and leather to it. It was beautiful. He hauled chips to a couple of paper mills with it for the most part but also hauled ties and some coal. Motter and Guth ran all macks at that point and my childhood days were spent listening to macks rolling past the house slowing to make the turn to the garage. To this day I can tell you whether or not its a mack by the sound of the dynatard without seeing the truck. Thank you guys for the great pics. I am going to show my dad these pics and when he digs his out of the closet Ill post his pics on here.
