  1. Nice truck. Ill take that CF too. I wish Mack would get back into the firetruck business. Those truck were what firetrucks were meant to be. We havent had a mack in our station since the 50's but I would love to add them back to the new truck spec list.
  2. That one looks a lot like my dads truck. He drove for a company called Motter and Guth in Marble Pa. His was solid red, straight 5 speed. When it came in, his bosses let him add a bunch of chrome and leather to it. It was beautiful. He hauled chips to a couple of paper mills with it for the most part but also hauled ties and some coal. Motter and Guth ran all macks at that point and my childhood days were spent listening to macks rolling past the house slowing to make the turn to the garage. To this day I can tell you whether or not its a mack by the sound of the dynatard without seeing the truck. Thank you guys for the great pics. I am going to show my dad these pics and when he digs his out of the closet Ill post his pics on here.
  3. Wow 77mackr, Very nice. Looks like you still work that one. I love it. Thank you for the pic.

He hade a red 1976ish R model with a 325 V8. Does anyone here know where I can find a picture of any other V8 R models from around that era? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
