My uncles Value Liner went up last night due to a frayed block heater cord. Thank god we were there and caught it in time, no damage other than a melted plug. Be sure to check your cords and use GFI's he didnt have a GFI and the breaker in the shop never popped. This was cause due to a stressed cord being used, they pull 1500 watts plus and if your heater and or cord is not 100% it can happen to you!
