E7 Etech Eup Problem

Recommended Posts

I just rebuilt my dad's 1999 etch. Everything is new accept the eups and they have over 1.5 million on them. They leak and I know I have to get the oring rebuild kit. I want to know if there is a way for me to totally overhaul the eups. For example replacing the plunger, solenoids etc...

He's having a power loss issue. The engine light will come on for a split moment, engine looses power and then kicks back in.

Any help would be appreciated thanks all.

Try to grab a code next time the fault light comes on. Sounds like it might be the fuel pedal acting up.

Thank you for replying underdog. We plugged her in and pulled a crank position sensor code. Ended up changing both the front and rear one. Truck ran beautiful as soon as the codes were cleared but it keeps coming up with the crank sensor code. As soon as it acts up it starts to run like poo again. This leads me to believe that there is a wiring or computer issue. My father is on the road and he should be back in a few days. Going to check it out when hes beck but any suggestions until then would be appreciated.
