Just saw a notice for an auction next weekend that will include a 1961 B 75 tandem with integral sleeper cab. Here is a link :http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/auctionview.cgi?lid=2805626&kwd=Brockway&zip=12095&category=0
The Mack has been seen running around Northeastern PA a bit, and looks to have a lot of potential. Some old Brockways in the sale also. Steve
It was at your show a few years back. I don't have a photo of this one believe it or not!

Those jobs weren't saved. They were subsidized by the government on our backs. Guess I should start my own business, not manage it properly the let the taxpayers bail me out so I can get my golden parachute out of he deal. Government bail outs do not work well with or fairly in a capitalist society. Bad bad news once the government starts deciding who succeeds and who doesn't.
I would agree with you if the government was continuing to subsidize GM but that's not the case. I'll take my tax money being spent to ensure over 200,000 Americans continue to keep their jobs.

Daily Diesel, 1000 bucks!! Wow! What a beauty! Right place, right time! By contrast there is a solid looking 64 or 65 Ford fenderside p.u in grey primer near my house no idea of condition or mechanicals 7000 bucks! Describe your L112 I've never seen that model. My dad had an L160 crane truck was about a 2.5 ton chassis had the differential and winch from a Bell Telaphone "line truck" granny topped out at about 18 mph!
It's a pickup, considered the heavier of the two choices available from IHC at the time, the other being the L-110. Straight six, 4 speed, 6 ft box. As simple as they come.
-
The M pictured above had 6 cyl IHC gas motor. Sold for just under a 1,000 at auction around this time last year. Clean both inside and out.
-
And remember, those Trend cabs were made out of some space age material, for the time anyway, named Royalex, commonly found in canoes nowadays.

This has been sitting by the edge of Rt 11 in Syracuse for a few weeks now. I didn't bother to see if there was price or contact info on the 4 Sale sign. I can check this weekend if someone is truly interested. If you look up the phone # for RWC you could get the answers too.

I don't think I ever seen that one DDD,but yet again Tri-Axle RD's are quite common around here. Could be Nello Construction, or Molly Construction, they both have red trucks. I hope your trip was fun in Philly, and you happen to check out all of the construction going on in the city.
AEL Contractors. I always enjoy my time in Philly. The Reading Terminal Market left me too full to do any serious exploring.

Spent a few days in Philly this past summer. I saw this truck by the zoo.

I have to think VW has found it's US partner in International.
International has a full spectrum of trucks from light to heavy and a large dealer and parts network. No need to reinvent the wheel as they say.

Suit-Kote, plenty of Macks (and Brockways) in their history.

Almost forgot, passed this guy heading home from Ballston Spa...twice!

New one for someone.

Why did cool signs like these ever fall out of favor?
-
With regards to MAN and Scania, how are they treated by VW? Have those two companies been forced to go the "VW Way" or are they allowed to produced products for the customers they know and serve without sending all tribute back to the mothership?

I believe the tag read 1980 Cruiseliner.

I encourage all to attend.

Now they say a hot lightbulb fell onto a pile of cardboard. Apparently the building was also home to a rubber recycler.
