  1. Thanks for all the opinions. I was at a small auto-truck show the first weekend of August and while away from my B model there was heavy rainfall. After returning to my truck after the rain a spectator asked if I would let him hear the engine run and I did. I wont go into detail what hapened to the pickup parked on the passenger side of my B as you all have that figured out by now.I survived but wont ever let that happen again. While at Walcott last Friday I puchased a rain cap and will put it on tomorrow. I assume it should open towards the rear of the truck? When at home I keep it in my pole building. Thanks again

  2. I found a Baldwin P 706 M at T.H.E. Company in Mt Pleasant Iowa, about 30 miles from home. They had eight of them in stock. No local companies had anything in stock and would had to order. Its already installed and as soon as the weather cools off I will fire it up to check for leaks, this evening probably. Will drive the B to Hamilton IL for display this Friday thru Sunday. Thanks all for the very good information. Victor

  3. The small one that truck repair provided was the second one they ordered, I might take it back and see if they want to try the third time. I was planning on taking it to the western Illinois Threshers next Thusday, friday and Sunday and time is running short.

  5. This has happened on my pc after the boss of the house played some video games. I think if you right click on the colored word you should see the name of the program, you might have to open it. then go to your progams and delete it.

  6. Hello,

My name is Victor Cross and this is my first attempt to post a topic on this forum.

I purchased my 1958 B 61 last July and am in the process of making some changes on it and then will post pictures and register it.

The air governor continues to leak air from the vent, not sure if the governor is defective or something in the system is causing this. the air pressure will build to just short of 120 lbs and the buzzer will not shut off. I have not been able to locate a governor like the one on my truck. looking for some good advice, thanks

Will probably go with the D2, tried to post photo of my old governor but no luck. Thanks
