So this is my main truck we use everyday. It was ordered from Deluxe Sales in Hackensack, NJ in 87. It is a International S1954 with a DTA466 (240-245 hp) with a Brake systems(formerly Williams) Blue Ox guillotine exhaust brake, Fuller RT6613 trans, 12,000 Spicer front with one extra leaf, 21,000 Spicer rear 4,44 ratio with 30,000 springs added. 11r22.5 rubber going to 12r22,5 on front soon. The body is a Amthors from Walden NY with a side lift gate 3,000lb. These are pics from over the years. I will post a recent one when I go up to Blue Beacon in Maybrook NY to get it washed.

Yea Maddog if I drove it today I wouldn't be so critical but it was a hell of a truck to cut your teeth on. Or chip a few gears on. LOL

Ok last one. This is an ex FA Marchello truck. It was the first tandem I had ever driven. 1989 RD688SX, 300 Maxidyne with a 7 speed Maxitorque, 58 rears, 18 front 11r24 rubber. Standard Bristol Donald body with straight pipe through body. Oh it had a weak Dynatard ( probably because Erwin ran straight 30 weight back then because it was cheaper). First Mack trans I ever drove probably why I hate the seven speed to this day. Good thing is as they say once you drive a Mack trans you can drive any Mack trans. This was winter of 94/95. I was used to Roadrangers and single axles. Anyway this truck is still around Emersen Paving from River Vale own it now.

I used to live up the street from them in Brick. They were on Burnt Tavern road. I lived on Lanes Mill.

Hey Chuck I have more Almasi pics. If I remember the Cl is a tandem. It does have the fairings. I think 50 or 52 rears. Maybe it's a tri now?. That's interesting about the clay. You would think most bricks came from down south.

i used to start a month before Englishtown to get the truck ready. It's a lot of work if the truck is working everyday. I know a lot of companies that have mula would take some trucks off the road and do them up. It's nice to have trailer queens I guess. I'm more impressed with a worker myself.
