Something was hooked up wrong. Im not at Nana and Papas anymore but a couple weekends ago we were slowly solving the issue. The next weekend i go over there and the ground dries up a little maybe we can get her out.Hello!
Vlad - thanks a lot for your comment! To tell you the truth, I don't feel like modifying the wheels... But I might try the idea with those wheel nuts - have to come up with an idea on how to do it nicely.
Vinny - sorry to hear about your problems. Is it more a leak of some kind or do you have missing components? Maybe you could post a thread with pictures in the Air&Brakes section of the forums - I could get a look at how it looks like in your truck and somebody could help you to solve the issue?
Thanks again for your comments, have a nice day

I think that tow truck is a U model.

I would for ya, but that's the problem with my truck not building air. Still gotta work on the treadle valve and get it right. Sorry Pawel.

That truck was hauling the "reefer". Pun intended. How about the brown R-model from Super Troopers. This truck made a couple appearances in the movie but I could only
find one picture of it. Was a nice looking single stack R with a 36" bunk. Alright Meow!

Wow you found them Ron! I remember you telling me you had old pictures of the U611 at Gerharts. I always remember the story of replacement of the botton of the cab. I noticed the difference right off the bat! You wouldnt happen to know where this truck ended up would you? Thanks for posting the pictures up. Vinny

Have any more U models come in? Still looking for a U-600 emblem.

I like your little U model. Don't happen to have any parts left do you?
-
Sweet! I saw that U700, wish it was closer. Surprised no one has grabbed it up yet. That 89 is a little cutie, good set up with the trailer
-
That U model! Looks to be about a 74-76 with that passenger mirror bracket, the U-600 emblem and the old style marker lights.
