  1. Thinking of trading to a m drive transmission truck primarily for hired guys to help in the fall what’s your thoughts mp7 with Mdrive in a 2015 pinnacle.
  2. Ok I agree but why won’t it cancel I suppose it runs through the v-mac system some how. Brake lights work. Can’t find any other switch’s That operate with the pedal.

  6. What’s the easiest way to check for leak on a e-7 seems there is a squeal that I can change with the pedal. Need to put boost guage on it. It’s the 355/380 several said it would stay with my 96 model with a 400 but not even close. Just wander if I’m loosing boost pressure????
  7. The yoke on the front of the differential is the bolt in center right handed threads??? Changing the seal that is tight or I’m making it tighter!!!
  8. Ok but this started last fall soon as one morning was down to 40 or so. Now it’s been a warm shop for a week an it’s still on when you start it
  9. Getting a flash code for intake air temp and fuel temp first thing in the morning when the motor warms up to operating temp all is well. How do I check those sensors???

  13. Anyone want to point me to every ground on this thing. I just bought it had a 96 before an right now wish I had never seen this one ran a load today I still think I'm getting inaccurate reading on the temp gauge an fuel gauge. Cleaned the plug behind the dash on the left side. Seems to have stopped a lot of it. It's got the 355-380 engine in it the old 400 would run circles around it I believe. I stopped at mack he hooked the laptop to it an read the ecm temp sensor an at the time the one in the dash was not even close. If I understand him right he set it to shut down if it gets a hot reading on that one???? By the way the guys at vo mac in new haven Indiana were very helpful.
  14. Getting in accurate reading on the temp gauge , some times it will move as the turn signals flash. I cleaned the ground behind the dash. Any ideas???

  16. Yea it wouldn't go again the steering stop acted like it was on the wrong spline on the gear box.
  17. Thinking of buy 09 chn613 with mp8. How much trouble is this engine going to be using it on the farm. 25 mi to terminal. Moving heavy machinery in a 20 mi radius??????
  18. Went and looked at a 2000 set forward axel 613. Question is do these trucks not turn short at all??? I have a set back 613 I know it probably won't turn that short. But turning to the right in the country pulling a hopper would be nearly impossible. Seemed a little better to the left it ????
  19. I changed the whole advance assembly It is a 1996 I'll check the fuse but this seems to be a intermittent probablem. Thanks for the help
  20. I was told there is a screen somewhere in the oil supply going to the timing selinoid anyone able to point in the direction of it. We're still having intermittent smoke and rough running Mack scanned it and says timing selinoid is what it says. The blink code is still 6-3. We did replace the timing selinoid and it's no different. Someone told us the 6-3 is actually engine brake output witch makes no sense to me. Any help be appreciated

  22. Doesn't a 96 model have a ecm that will hold codes that have appeared in the last so many miles or hours that can be scanned while there isn't a current code showing in the dash? Took the truck to dealer naturally it won't act up for them while warming up.
