what a nice truck
-
nice truck. I can picture a nice aluminum roll back on that
-
that is the original Mack green on the inside. inside was lighter than the outside. there are many variences of that color tho
-
same truck, with box removed??
-
looks good. did you cover the old cardboard or make your own pleated one?
-
I have an eye for those things Al haha. my 66 R model I just put the 300+ and 10 speed RR in ended up with the stick comin up right in the middle of the two floor boards. I just cut the brace out a little with a sawsall and will doll it upwith some weldin underneither when I restore it. just mockin it all up now. I have the original duplex out of it and it has the bent sticks comin out under the heater. many variable I believe. some had a double disk clutch which moved the levers back also. I think some Roadrangers had an offset shiftin tower to? our 82 at work has this and the lever bent forward to clear the brace in floor. this is an 82 tho and the cab sits a little higher than the 66.
-
yup, classic look to Al. where did they all go? seems weird that EVERY one of them got exported....
-
nothing nicer than a white wheel in a mint green R model cab. what are you runnin for a tranny? most older r models have the sticks comin out under the heater with a 72 series trans.
-
hmm paint scheme looks awful familiar.....
-
its dirty... this was about 5 years ago. old Macks leak oil like an old Panhead
-
yup. hard to drive anything anymore. I know Garys orange one was Yaworski's, just always thought it was this truck, never knew they had two.
-
so I take it the one Gary Mahan has came from Yaworski's and was about the twin to this one coming off the line? I remember this truck at Macungie the year it was brand new
-
that's a sweet truck and nice trailer. hope you guys didn't change it all around with new runnin gear..
-
was alot of fun actually!
-

-

-

-
i give, whats the B model in the background?
-
doesnt reall interest me althought it has a sweet steering wheel and original interior., my gut wont fit in that concave cab piece of junk haha. the b42 is junk, only one i like is the b61
-
two? that moran wants 10 grand for all of them. he is out of his mind.
-
pretty sweet truck . i looked her all over at Macungie. interior is original, never been molested, sheet metal is excellent, needed a little frame lovin. pretty odd to see a big gas job survivor. most were blown up and parked in the back row and forgot about then junked.
-
boy that was a cold ass morning. had to give her some either that am. was covered with frost.
-
east bound and down, right passed a Trooper and a Sheriff with an uninsured unregistered trailer. old Fetterly would be proud
Mack bus ?
