  1. Gone from the board. he has been so busy with all kinds of irons in the fire. if all goes well tomorrow I am probably going to swing by his place for a few days and bug the everliving piss out of him with my Peterbilt in Mack territory

Send him my best. He's a good man.

  2. We had an old Dodge (Job Rated) 1956? maybe? Well it had a 413 flat head 6 with two carbs that used to do the same thing, (in cold weather) all we did was put 2 cans of dry gas in every time we gased her up and it did not do it anymore

thank you all. I figured it was a Venturi issue. The dry gas is a great idea.
  3. No im not in a big hurry i know theres a few other people looking for the fenders like i am. D you mean meet up as in being able to bring the parts down here or just to talk about what parts im after. Im about 15 min away from easton so yeah we could mmet up. Thanks

i would deliver the parts in lieu of paying shipping. When you talk to Harvey just let him know. I will be heading up to pick up some equipment so I can grab what you buy.

My wife is from Easton so we visit family and friends often.

  4. I promised I would deliver on this. I visited Mr. Harvey Lloyd today who lives in Dedham, MA. He has a storage locker full of Mack parts I saw B81 bumper, fenders and driver side headlight fender.

His basement is full of nos parts for engines, bushings, boggies, etc.

Please call him with your needs. All prices are extremely reasonable.

  5. I'm looking for the whole nose of a b61 need everything but hood and grill if anyone could help with any places to find these parts I would appreciate it thanks

Just met a guy who bought out an entire Mack dealer in the 1960's. Has three warehouses full of nos parts and sheet metal. Where do you live in New York?

I am going to visit this gentleman hopefully this week.

  6. I don't think there are many scales if any on I84 to 684 in NY then 287 in NJ. I'll know in a couple hours because I am going up the same route to Maine in less then an hour. The brakes in the IH are less then a year old. I was thinking about loading backwards anyway because I think it would be easier to unload off the ramp next to my shop since I would have to cut it sharp right after it gets to the bottom anyway.

First thing first is lets see if this B42 is a turd or a diamond in the rough. If its good, I'll make an offer then I'll work on the logistics.

684 scales after exit 8 in rest area. I84 scale at exit 2 in CT.
