so show of hands how many people here used to play in the field or woods a couple miles from home when you were kids? I did, I rode my bike all over the damn place, hell I would go to friends houses a couple miles away then we'd go a couple more miles to play around by the creek in the woods. An than we have this.

You cant defend yourself with an unloaded gun, the tragedy is she was stupid and let her child know where it was and she didn't take steps to insure the child couldn't get it out.don't understand why she had a chambered round in a 9mm semi auto, bad deal for all . she had the gun in a concealed carry compartment of her purse that the kid got open.

I saw the black marks but where's the clutch dump burnout?

Hahaha, poor nerdy kid,lol

Now find a single axle R so when the Freightliner dies you can put the body on a Mack, lol. Looks like a good find to me and a 3126 may not be a powerhouse but they're decent on fuel if you do your part.

Ha, that exhaust mount is a noisy little sucker apparently, I have a friend with some new trucks that says the same thing. I'd try a silicone based thin clear grease like LPS Clear Penetrating Grease. He says he hits it with something about every day or two just to shut it up. That's the whole reason if I order I'm getting frame mounted exhaust, lol.

If Mack corporate needs help creating new parts maybe they'll call you, they can't even put a sleeper they already make on a cab they make.

Paul my return on the rw doesn't have a dip tube either. I've fixed this issue before and its been either supply check valves at the filter base, hole rubbed in a fuel line or cracked dip tube in the tank. Don't know without seeing the truck but there are plenty of good guesses on this thread for sure.

I'd buy a W900, I can't really stand the new wide cabs on most makers trucks, took me a long time to come around to the CH cab.

Mack new p/n is 27RC250, description is cable assy. I've got two spares on the shelf, lol. Whenever I buy little stuff like that I know breaks or wears out I get double, guess that's why I'm broke!

Ho-Lee-Shit! That is some awesome work

Go with the 12 spd, awesome transmission its got nearly perfect gearing for anything you can find. The one stick or trtxl 1070B is just an air shift deep reduction where the two stick trtxl 1070 has a shifter for deep reduction which will only shift with the main stick in low so its easy to drive. The trtxl 107 is the direct top gear version and Mike is right the 1070's are .78 OD, the air shifter on the main stick has reverse/neutral/low and high use low then split to high in each gear like an Eaton super ten. The big bonus is being able to shift thru all 5 gears in reverse, when you have a long way to go like on paving jobs you can clip along at 20mph and 1400rpm in reverse.

Ha so if the train is running thru drifts like that what happened to "during inclement weather travel no faster than a speed at which you can stop in one half the range of vision", yeah thats and FRA rule!

What the hells all that white stuff on the ground, did a nuclear power plant meltdown? Just rains here!

If you have a day I'll look thru my receipts, I've got the number for the cables and springs at home.

Suburbanseats,.com has bostrom cushions and parts, I've seen a few places that sell bostrom factory parts.

If they use a Volvo cab I'll buy kW if I get a new one, that'll be the end of Mack for me

Ahh, the stripes on the back of the cab issue, lol. My Superliners stripes do not go across but a few friends trucks (R, DM and MH) did, I asked this question before and it goes like this, how much money do you want to spend? Mack had the std. Stripe model that ended just after it curved around the back of the cab but there were two options on cab stripe length or so I was told. The first option was like mine and was ended just after the rear wall radius, the second option cost more money and completed the stripes across the back of the cab. Supposedly this was because most trucks had bodies or sleepers mounted that made the added effort and cost a waste. Hope that helps.

10-4 bbig, a lot of folks are going to 22.5's round here too. The 11r22.5 on an Alcoa wheel vs a low pro 24.5 on an alcoa is the same height 42" and the 24.5 is actually 2.6# lighter by the books, lol. I always liked the 42" tall tire but the shorter sidewall on the 24.5 seems more stable to me, just personal preference really. On the subject of the Eaton 13 speed being a double od, well its not what you think. The term double od came from way back when some mechanics did gear flips to trucks to get the top two gears to be od, creating a .73 8th and .62 9th, the hi-lo split on the side of the shifter is actuality an underdrive or deep reduction back box. When your in hi on the splitter the gear ratios are the same as the 9 speed used to make up the 13, when you split it to lo your actually putting that gear thru a real reduction. Back box the get a half gear step. The Eaton low is 12.44 I think and the od is .73, the mack is also 12 something but .71 od so a little higher on top, the mack 313/318LR have 16.42 lo and .71 od.
