I've been an o.o. most of my adult life, running mostly in the costruction industry locally with dump trucks. Started in '79 with a Pete "transfer" and now operating a '99 International semi-end dump tractor. In between there was a period of running a 2-axle Pete tractor pulling tank doubles hauling bulk wine. Family has been restoring vehicles since I can remember. '19 Autocar, '29,'47, '55,'56,'63,'64 Stude's, '56 Dodge 3-ton unrestored, and 2 '29 Cat Fifteens. The Mack is my "toy". It was purchsed new by a local company, a lot of local history in it!

  1. When running a flatbed in the west, I would rather run a late model COE truck/pull trailer combo rather than a conv. tractor and 48' flat trailer. Dave.
  2. [A listing that I have shows Light Beige #510, Med. Beige "520, and a Dark Beige #530. In spray cans the part #'s are 3121106P, 3121107P, and 3121108P. Hope that this might help you. Dave.
  3. Thanks Trent. Thanks Barry. Your'e right about the dash in my truck Trent. Barry, I'll be calling you. Making a list of what I might need and I'll be in touch. Thanks again fellas'. Dave.
  4. My '68 has a rusted through roof at the right front corner (just above the gutter). Upon investigation I found that it might go down the cab pillar also. If I do decide I want to look for a new cab- what year cabs would be same as this one? Also, is there a sight that lists R parts for sale? Thanks for your help fellas'. Dave.
