  1. Vin, the one on the passenger is aluminum but they are both painted silver(for now ). We stopped at our buddies place the other day and we got the right air cleaner off a parts R600 he had. I'll post some pics in a few mintues. Josh
  2. Travis, I think the signals look great buddy ! Just to tease but here's what it SHOULD look like ! Done anything with the interior yet?? Thanks, Josh
  3. I love that Mike !!! My brother did find out shortly after getting this truck that someone converted the old style cab over to air ride so it might help just a touch. We're both still young and stupid . Thanks, Josh
  4. Mike, I actually put in 34,000 lbs. springs like it had, and besides it's going to pull a lowboy mainly and a dump trailer once in a while. Around here it will be perfect. It still rides better than my green B61 that's all streched out with with 44,000 springs. Thanks, Josh
  5. Vinny, I still need to get the new exhaust and new battery cables(the old ones had gang green). As for the sraight pipe of coarse. It'll be a Straight Stack Mack with a V8 power pack! MikeD, That is PPG Omni Mack Red Thanks, Josh
  6. My Brother and I have got alot done on his R700 since he bought it over the winter. We took the 285 out and installed one of the other 866 V8s we we had so it is back to factory specs, and I'm glad to report that after sitting fo almost 20 years the old V8 roared to life like it was yesterday . Also My Brother took out the single axle that someone never fiished installing and put the original tandems back in. Once he gets the drive shaft shortened for it and a few more tires the old girl will be mobile. Enjoy! Thanks, Josh
  7. Well after almost 6 months of wrong parts and several dead part guys I finally got the rears all done painted and installed for the old RS. I think I see light at the end the tunnel finally . I really think this is going to be a really nice truck if I ever get it fiished. I hope you guys enjoy. Thanks, Josh
  8. Here's a few more. The red one is Jack Grigg's from Conneaut Lake, Pa and the dark blue(No it's not really black) one belongs to my buddy from Pittsburgh, Pa. The dark blue one is the next to the last Superliner ever built. Thanks, Josh
  9. Here's some pics of my Dads Superliner and of my Buddys Magnum that I painted the frame in(I would kill to have this truck) last summer. Thanks, Josh
  10. Thanks for the compliments Guys. I can't wait to get it done and out side to take a picture of it. It's probably not going to make Mucungie, but you never know. I think it should make Watts and Gerharts. I'd have to look up the paint code. It's a Mercedes Green. Thanks, Josh
  11. I finally got more done on the RS. I rebuilt, painted and installed the steering box. Also I finally got the radiator painted and installed. My Brother and I buffed the fuel tank and after a month of waiting, the welding shop finished my new tank straps so I painted them and now the fuel tank is on. Oh ya I almost forgot I almost have the rear axles ready for sand blasting and painting. So I hope you guys enjoy! Many thanks, Josh
  12. Ya I know. I still have the original one off my Dad's EF that's in really good shape. He put on a NOS one on his EF that my Great Uncle got years ago. Josh
  13. Yes I do have some pictures of the RS but I just haven't had time to post them yet. I'm not sure what shape the turn signals are in but if your interested in them I might sell them once I get the truck. Thanks, Josh
  14. One more. This is actually one of the first R797s built. The vin is R797ST1021 which makes it number 21. Sorry no U models Vin! The only other truck he still has laying there is a Mack EF that I'm going to be getting for him some time in the near future.
  15.    Your guess is as good as mine. A friend of my Dad's bought the truck to part it out but he thought we might want it to restore instead.
  16. Here's my Brother's new toy. It's a 1971 R797ST. It has a 300 with a direct 12spd. It of course had a 375 V8 in it new. We are going to put our extra 375 V8 in it when it gets home. The cab is in really really good shape. Someone started putting a single axle in it but they never finished. Luckilly they put original 44,000 rears on the top of the frame so my Brother can just slide them back under it and roll down the road. Also the thing only has 163,000 original miles. Here are a few pics(HOPEFULLY). Enjoy guys. Thanks, Josh.

  18. I'm looking for a carpet for a Mack R model with tan interior. My RS700 had one when it was new and I would like to put one back in it. It doesn't have to be in great shape as long as I would have a good pattern to make new one. It should be a brown loop carpet with a brown rubber heel pad on the left side aruond the fuel and brake pedals. I included a pic of the floormat carpet I'm looking for. I would appreciate any help on the matter. Many Thanks, Josh
