  1. That's the first I've heard the term "winter/summer" air cleaner. Is that the type that mounts over the vent opening and has the control cable that operates the door? From what I've seen, I think that type has a different bolt pattern on the cab than the style with the separate mounting bracket. Do I understand that right? The bolt pattern on my cab is what I was thinking indicated what kind my truck originally came with.
  2. I think D-Day has found the right one for me. He's getting info on it.
  3. There was an air cleaner on it when I bought the truck, but it was home made and not what I really wanted to keep on it.
  4. Just wondering if anyone would know what the original configuration was on the tank cross-over hose with dual aluminum tanks? Was it a single hose from one tank to the other? Hard pipe in the center maybe, with a short hose on each side? Also, was there a single leveling hand valve on one side or the other? One other question. How was the hose or pipe supported under the truck? Mine has some steel angle going across that's bolted to the bell housing. Thanks in advance for any help
  5. Thank you D-Day. I'd definitely be interested in seeing what he might have for it.
  6. I have a left side Dana/Spicer GG5 11 6-bolt PTO that I will not need. It's on my 5-speed Duplex transmission. Asking $75 OBO, however I am looking for an original Mack cover plate for mine for when the PTO comes off. If you're looking to put a PTO on yours, I'd be interested in your cover. Please message me if interested. Thanks
  7. Yeah, I'm not sure what I'll find when I get it apart, but this engine is an 18 stud ENDL711, which is supposed to have the 3/4" corner studs. However, the rear head on it has 18 studs, but the corner studs are smaller than 3/4". They look like they're the same size as all of its other studs. The front head looks correct, 18 studs with 3/4" corner studs. I'm hoping that there will be a removable reducer in the block that the 2 small studs are currently threaded into. Hopefully nothing dumb was done to the block.
  8. Here's a picture of my truck. So far I've done some air system repair, removed the fuel tanks for cleaning, detailing, and fuel sender repair, and I'm tracking down a few leads on an air cleaner for it. There's more I'll have to do to make it reliably road-worthy and to make it what I want it to be, but I'm enjoying it. I've already gotten some great help from members here. Getting a building done for it is going to be a priority this spring too, it's just barely too tall to go in the detached garage.
  9. LOL! I'll try to post a couple pictures.
  10. Thanks for your reply Mr Samples I am definitely interested in your cylinder heads. My heads are complete, so I guess I should have all of the hardware I would need. I think I have "one" 673 head on my engine though (small corner studs), the other head is a large stud. I'm hoping I don't find anything dumb when I see how they put the 2 small studs in the block. Hopefully just a reducer in the original 3/4" threaded hole or something that's reversible. The engine is the original ENDL711.
  11. I'm looking for the following parts for a 1965 B61. One END711 18 stud cylinder head (Found! Thanks BR549) A couple of the 3/4" head studs and nuts. Original 6-bolt block-off plate for a 5-speed Duplex PTO opening. Original B model battery box (with dual gas tanks) original oil bath air cleaner and inlet pipe (through the cab) for this? Mine looks like it came with the style that uses the separate mounting bracket that bolts to the cab (I have the bracket). (Found! Thanks D-Day) Thanks in advance for any help
  12. Hello everyone. I just bought my first truck a few weeks ago, a 1965 B61LST, and I'm really looking forward to being involved in the vintage truck hobby. I've been in the Mopar car hobby for many years, but I really enjoy the old trucks and this change of scenery will be fun. I live near the Macungie PA fairgrounds, and a couple years of walking around that show field really gave me the bug. I'll probably have a lot of questions for you guys (some of them might be stupid ones LOL), but I really appreciate having this forum available to help with my learning curve. Thanks for letting me sign up!
