    Bob I didn’t mine at all no harm. Like you the last years I drove I hated to even go in to work. I worked the city the last 5 years of my career I like it and the cars I didn’t mind it was the other Truckers that couldn’t drive especially in a big city. My last truck was a Mack CHU613 with a Mack m drive 12 speed automatic. If it was below 20° the transmission wouldn’t shift right not just mine every one’s. I never thought I would say this so many times but I don’t miss Trucking after 34 years of driving and being a 4 generation trucker.

    Yes I would have never semi retired I had enough of the ELs and these Truck drivers on the highways these days. No more old School Driver’s like I was out there.

    That’s a sweet looking steel dash and green on top of it. I drove a 1968 steel dash for about a year pulling a end dump hauling out of the Lead Mines

    Mark thanks for sharing your collection that Brockway dump is beautiful. I’ve always wanted the Reading B Model never got around to getting one.

    Yeah I bought a lot of mine at the Mack shop when they were on sale to get rid of them.

    Thanks for sharing I’ve custom built several of these and sold them on eBay. I still have some in my collection. That’s neat your dad built these back in the day I have a couple Railroad Craftsmen magazines from the mid 50s with the Ulrich ads in them. I could find them and post them if you like. Here’s a couple Customs I built in the early 2000s. Decals were made by a friend.

    Finished this build this week. The truck is a AMT Mack R model I added the dump bed, plow and salt spreader from AMT Ford Louisville kit . I custom made a few parts including the control tower and front bumper.
