Replacing my floorpan

Vacation is officially overr, headin home today and back to the blazing heat. Only good thing is I get to get back to work on the truck.

Off to the beach for next two weeks, looking forward to hitting the Central Coast Cooler Truck show while I'm there, hopefully some Macks there.

Finally, exterior sheetmetal replacement, DONE!!!

Melted some of the old lead off the cab and found more rotten sheetmetal, will it ever end? I have one more piece to go.

Got my gallery updated finally, what a pain

Gonna attempt to get the last piece of exterior sheetmetal replaced on the H model this week, wish me luck.

Back home to reality and the heat, blah! But looking forward to the California Central Coast Truck show in July.

This 70 degree weather here at Pismo Beach sure beats the 100 degree dry heat at home

Tranny brackets are being fabricated, off to the beach on Thursday for a week, wooohooo. The old girl will have to wait a little bit

I'm hoping that it'll help me get more organized. It's amazing how much you can do when you're not having to hunt things down. I'm hoping a coule more weeks and they'll all be done and with doors on. This summer I want to paint the floor and finish off the cieling with sheetrock. Still have a looooooong way to go on the Mack though but am always making progress.

It's nice to see these great trucks are appreciated everywhere, not just here in the U.S. I thought I'm having a hard time finding parts for my H-63, can't imagine what you have to go through to get stuff. Keep up the good work. I'm getting my cab media blasted today and going to start the sheetmetal repair next week. I'm going to post pics in my gallery of the progress.
