  1. I need to remove my inj pump today. the shop said there is a mark to line up under a cover. Is the the mark under the front pan facing the radiator? thanks ray
  2. I need some advice on my 91 Em7 300 hp. last fall i started losing coolant in my tree spade truck. checked for leaks externally. The pressure gage drops from 10# down to 4 in 2-3 minutes. dealer says liners? Any ideas or suggestions.Repair money limited as large trees seem to bean extravagance in this economy. Thanks Ray
  3. Ok Guys, What rears should I look for ? keep in mind the trans has a 40% OD. If I could drive comfortable at 65 , I would be happy. Ray
  4. Ok , I found the problem 7.00 gears. So anybody any ideas for an aux transmission to upgrade? Anybody with parts for sale?
  5. OK I found the ratio 7.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder it is slow.
  6. Hey Maxville. I will look closer tomorrow. Nice MR's you built. MR would work great for a tree spade truck, lower cab height and easier to enter and exit cab. My dream would include a 6 speed allison. New truck way too much money and all the MR's I saw were worn out garbage trucks. I shift a lot off road backing up to the tree so an auto would be ideal. By the way I have had my pump turned all the way up on the dyno. But not taken off and adjusted for RPM"s. Thanks for the info. Ray
  7. Ok Maxville, On the ramp face ; 5374P16 93 5B1665 Help?
  8. I have a 98 RD 600 withan EM7, t2080 (40% OD) that will only go 55mph. I was told it had 5.55 rears, maybe not true? Being a glider kit , how do I find the ratio?
  9. Maybe my rears are deper than 5.55, I will check this weekend. Ray
  10. Guys, At 57 mph it turns 1900 rpm. It will pull a few more revs but not much more. On the dyno the rpm will hit 2050. It drives comfortable at 52 mph. Seems to have good power and throttle goes all the way down. have checked all that stuff. so back to the original question about aux. trans. Thanks Ray
  11. Can I get some ideas on upgrades for my RD600, 92 EM7, T2080 trans (40%) OD, 5.55 rears. 290 hp to the ground. Dynoed. This is a tree spade truck and works well off road. On the road top speed 57 mph. Also too big of spaces between gears. Any ideas or parts for an aux. trans. Thanks Ray
  12. My understanding of a EM7 is that is has a higher torque band at lower rpm. suposssed to work well with big gaps in gear ratios and off road. Not sure if the pump is a bosche, will look today. I have 5;50 gears for atree spade truck. Ray
  13. Thanks everyone for the info. I ended up with a used t2080
  14. Can anyone help me with a motor swap problem? I just today test drove my rd 600 with a em7 mechanical motor that replaced my e6. It seems that the throttle linkage is moving fully forward on the pump but revs seem limited. On the motor plate it is rated 300 hp at 1750 rpm. Would it be governed at 1750 rpm ? And how can it be increased if that is true? Thanks All . Ray
  15. Does anybody have info or parts to change T2080 8 speed to newer allison 5-6 speed? my 8sp is sick and drive offroad a lot moving trees with a 98 rd 600 glider. Ray 612-709-1397
  16. I am considering purchasing a Mack R-600 and need some feedback and info on this truck. Does Mack have a list of specs if a person has the serial # ? The 6cyl motor is marked 3C ser # endtb675c is that a 235HP motor? It has an aux trans with OD , two rods move the shifter. Is this a 4 speed Aux with a 5 speed main? Also on the dash is a light denoting antilock? Is this for brakes? The truck is from US goverment with 129,000 miles and needs at minimum paint or restoration. It is rustfree and sound with good bias ply tires. I intend to mount a tree spade on it. The price is $7500 plus shipping. What do you all think? Ray
