Okay thanks for the info. Now I'll see what I can find.

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the difference is between a T-2180 and a T-318 transmission. I'm wanting to replace my eaton 10 speed with a mack 18 speed and I'm trying to decide which I should try to find. Thanks.

I have one with over 700,00 miles and 28,000 hours and the engine has never been into. Mainly just a few oil leaks, exhaust manifold gaskets and studs, and wire harness issues. I really can't complain. Still runs good.

Oh don't worry about it ending. With a truck, it's never done! I'm just mesmerized and realizing how lazy I really am.

If it's a Behr electric clutch, I had the same problem on mine. Dealer told me you couldn't rebuild it. Had to buy the whole bearing assembly and seems like they wanted like $650 or $700? I can't remember now but I took it apart like you did and went and found bearings. Had it going the same day for around $20 if I remember right. I think there was one available at that time though. Welcome aboard! I'm only about 80 miles north of you. Trey

Congrats! Glad to hear you're doing better! Trey

That just means the rest of us have to step up to the plate and vote him out. I'd rather go down swingin'! TreyI got a bad feeling all the sheep and "free shit" freeloaders/liberals are gonna vote this no-good bastard back in!.........................................Mark

I looked mine over real close and reused them. I torqued to specs but can't remember what that was right now. I've run it over a year and haven't had any problems but I checked them often after I did it. I think it was around $400 for a set at that time.

Don't worry about the little things Olive. It'll drive you nuts. Unless you're already there, I don't know where it'll drive you. Trey

Wow! Nice find. I hope I can find one like that someday.
-
Hard to say and don't know until you get it apart but if it was mine, I wouldn't run it till I got it fixed.
-
I agree with Rob. If fixed soon enough, sometimes it's not too bad but if you run it like that long it can turn into a lot of $$$$!

I have seen the wires break on the high pressure switch or could possibly be the switch itself. Trey

Wish I could've been there but thanks for sharing all the pics! I know what you mean about the west coast guys. It's that way around here. Wish there were more Macks but I'll keep doing my part. Trey

Nah, let's keep this great country our forefathers gave us and send them to that island in nov.give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him to fish he will eat forever.
give a man a dollar and he will spend it. teach him how to make a dollar and he will earn thousands.
steal from me once shame on you.
steal from me twice, pay the price
see the pattern
Obozo has given out so much money to people that did nothing that I suspect that few will try to work another day in their life. and thats how he will attempt to win the next election. Fags, queens, blacks, mexicans, make up a huge portion of the population. now add in the idiot white folks and you have almost 50% of the nation sucking on his Tits just to servive.
Wish I could move to an island and live life out like out founding fathers had wanted us to..

Have you done anything yet such as checking the air and fuel filters? Trey

Pawel, I've seen the cb there or on the top of the center dash, right in front of the gear shift. Trey

It worked! Oh, and that's a real nice B! Trey

If you pull different trailers often, a filter isn't a bad idea, but if you pull the same one all the time, I wouldn't think it's that necessary.

Wow! Doesn't even look like the same truck. The before picture is about what mine looks like now. A real PIA when they haven't been polished before. I got the front right wheel and the right tank done and have a long way to go.

My first thought is wheel bearing.
