  1. I can see them and they look good from what I see. No tears in the rubber that I can visually see. If I jack up tranny they move over an 1.5” is that normal?
  2. They look square
  3. Oh duh sorry 2013 Mack mru
  4. Have a question about the tranny mounts that bolt to frame. They have the rubber buffer inside them. I have an odd sound coming from tranny sounds like a pickup with worn out ball joints creeking inside truck. Only when driving. I jacked up tranny and both mounts move up with it. I assume there suppose to move some. Is there a way to know for sure they have to much play in them? This just started about a week after a new clutch and remack tranny was installed. Thanks in advance for any help!!
  5. Thanks Geoff, that is some useful information. I’ll get to work on the leaks.
  6. I understand what you’re saying and appreciate the help. I drain tanks daily and I am getting a decent amount of oil and water out of the wet tank. Is that from compressor cycling to much? Is there a concern about how much water and oil it putting out daily to worry about mechanical failure of compressor? What I’m saying it’s going to take some to pin point leaks in the mean time im worried about losing compressor
  7. Ok is the reason leaks? Which would make it cycle more often
  8. Ok, no it’s popping off every 3-4 mins. So I need to look for leaks to main tank and governor?
  9. Ok I called Mack and got a breakdown and that’s all they use is silicone heater hose. But a new one broke apart after a months use. I see a little oil coming out of air tank. So I guess it’s time to change compressor. Could the compressor be cresting back pressure if it’s leaking oil? I just want to make sure I don’t have another problem before changing compressor.
  10. There’s a one inch off that runs off side of air compressor feeding drivers side air intake. Is this for extra boost? The hose broke a week later after replacement?
  11. Well I think I found the problem brittle wires and coating coming off in wiring harness right where it bends over air compressor. The harness is a complete engine harness. 1800. Anyone replaced one before? Just wondering if I should try to do it I called Mack they charge 12 hrs for it at 195.00/hr
  12. I got cover pulled I do not see any damaged wires or looses plugs. What would be the next thing to check
  13. Ok thanks, this is my first mp8 I have had all e7 past 20 years. The blowby tube that comes out of cover. Does that twist out or take the cover off with it
  14. Doing that right now the guy a bought the truck from a year ago had all 6 injectors replaced beginning of 24. I don’t know if cups were changed.
  15. Hey everyone so I have another strange issue. 2013 mru 613 mp8 motor Driving truck back from job and felt it missing and losing power. At shop checked 2 active codes injector 1&3 open circuit. Shut truck off to cool ate lunch. Started truck up to move and it’s running perfect no more miss or active codes. Is this maybe a short or damaged wire to injector harness? Any help would be appreciated just don’t want to get stuck somewhere
  16. Ok plug at radiator and connect the lines together there right?
  17. Got a 13 mru t310 tranny cooler must have a small leak low on coolant and oil is turning milky after a months use. My question is can I cap of lines and not use cooler? I have same setup in a 07 no cooler on trans.
  18. Trying to find a salvage yard where I could buy a grille and headlight beasels for a mru 613
  19. So I had a fuel leak today the hose coming off fuel rail to that little aux pump in pic. I’m assuming this is for scr system. The hose has been rubbing a long time it looks like. Could this been the cause of all my issues? I guess I can soak it down with hose and try.
  20. Hello can anyone point me in the right direction of egt sensor on a 2013 mru cab over. I’m getting a fault code one it. Are these sensor prone to failure or the connector? Thanks!!
  21. Thanks I’m going to check it out very thoroughly today
  22. Ok, I checked all the banjo bolts on fuel lines and found the ones on fuel pump loose. Idk if that has anything to do with it. If loose seems like they could suck air unless water changes this issue. But that’s above my paygrade. I’m new to these electronic emission trucks. Thanks!
