What a beautiful beast! When I was in grade school they used to haul steel beams in a half cab chain drive Mack, you could hear them coming a half mile away!

Doesn't do the Diamond T image much good making it resemble an S model "binder!

There is a p.o.s. named Jonchuk,who threw his five year old daughter off a bridge into Tampa bay a couple years ago to her death a local deputy witnessed it, he's finally being "tried" he will probably get life,due to his "mental illness" on our nickel....or 15 years of appeals if he gets the death penalty! Gray hair, there is a guy down here near Brooksville Florida has an original VW with a motorcycle front fork,removed the windshield and cowl, sits on what may be the original seat and steers with the bike handlebars! There is another dude with about an 18 ft wooden rowboat sitting on a car chassis! Where the outboard motor would bolt to the transom he has a full size cartoon alligator(like Al Gator from "Pogo"!)lol! There must be something in the air!

Tragic how all those UPS Diamond Ts  and Reos got scrapped they were so well maintained! My cousins buddy had one of those Diamond T cabovers anyone remember Bill Sheffer out of Breezewood Pa? Ran Diamond Ts was a columnist for Overdrive also.

I may still have Dennisons Ice Road, we were flooded in 2012 during tropical storm Debbie and I lost a lot of books really lamented losing a hardcover 1968 motors manual!

Fellas, has to be out of print, but decades ago I bought a book at a library sale called Dennisons Ice Road, apparently this guy Dennison was the first to have a regular route long before "Ice Road truckers" that served all the little communities near the artic circle. There are said to be hundreds of pieces of mostly heavy equipment that fell through the ice as the drivers had no scientific way to determine the ice thickness early or late in the " season"!

Haven't seen a "ragtop" dry van in decades very nostalgic!
