I just got a daycab brochure! Check this bad boy out...

We do stock a universal sender that seems to work well for antique applications. It is not listed on our website yet. It sells for $27.87 ea USD. You can give me a call to place an order.

We can still get cab panels for the R Mods. The only big difference was the roof and rear cab panel. the late models had an extended rear panel for a little extra room in the cab. I only have OEM panels, though...no aftermarket stuff.

Stay tuned...I will post a price as soon as my Aus contact gets the shipping quote. I hope it is resonable, we will get 3-5 in one box to cut down on the freight charge.

Looks like you were in Vegas, Rick! My guys just got back, too...here are some pics. Sorry they are kinda dark, but they said the lighting was poor in the convention hall.

There used to be a company in Seatle that made conversion kits, but the phone number is no good. I will do some checking...

Thanks all,
The rigs I build aren't "outta the box" so to say. It isn't a set Lego sells or promotes. It's build after my own idea, guided by pictures of the real thing.
@ Lmackattack, I used to build 1to24 kits myself. I left that to rest because every spot in the house was filled with a model, as a figure op speech . I now build 1to13 models from scratch so I don't need a box or kit from the store, just a bunch of detailed pictures to get me going.
@ Barry, I have done the Mack and a GMC so far. It takes a while to get all the info and parts needed to build a big rig. I'm still not finished with the GMC, although that was my first started project. In between I needed another model, the Mack, for an exhibition of modellers. I made a flatbed with the GMC, but changed the flatbed over to the Mack. I'm now finalising a heavy hauling combination of jeepdolly a lowloader and a booster for the GMC, 13 axles in total. I haven't got any pictures of that yet while it's still in progress.
For the pictures I kindly request you to visit my website at http://legorigs.dyndns.org (No, I don't get payed for getting a lot of visitors )
I'm thinking of replacing the GMC for a new model CL, that's why I need a lot of detailed pictures from all angles.
Are you gonna tear the GMC apart to build the CL?

Yes, a car battery should be able to get you home, but I recomend replacing both batteries when you can! If the "good" battery is really only up to half potential, it will suck a new battery dead.

There is a place in Latrobe that stores motorhomes, etc...but that is about 45 miles from you...I don't know of anywhere else.

Yes, there ae limits on the number of attachments you can add. If you reach your limits, you will need to go to your control panel and manage your attachments. I have also added new user groups to give members more global space based on post counts...see this link for more info:
http://bigmacktrucks.invisionzone.com/inde...&st=0#entry1901
Don't forget about your Gallery! You can add photos there also! You can also use free photo hosting sites to attach pics or albums with out using any global space. If you have any questions, call me at 1-888-304-MACK

I have set up new user groups for members based on total number of posts. All changes are automatic and you don't have to do anything except post! Here is how it will work:
0-50 posts = Member (5mb Global Space)
50-100 posts= Special Member (6mb Global Space)
100-250 posts = Select Member (7mb Global Space)
250-500 posts = Premium Member (8mb Global Space)
500-Up posts = VIP Member (10mb Global Space)
As you can see, the Global Space goes up for each member level. This is what lets you post more photos as attachments in your posts. In addition, Premium & VIP Members can delete their own posts, topics and edit titles! If you have already reached a new group level, the change will take place on your next post! Have fun and keep those topics coming!

Welcome to BMT! Glad you found us! We would love to see photos of your truck when you get a chance!

Nice lookin machine there! Looks almost like the Rubber Duck!
As far as the engine, I would check all the exhaust gaskets and lock rings while it is out. Lot easier to work on exhaust when it is out of the truck.

Hi Bill! Welcome aboard! Glad you found us...There are lots of friendly, helpful folks here, so jump right in and enjoy! We sure would like to see some photos of your new truck, too.

Nice collection of photos! Gotta love fire trucks!
Did you go to the fireman's parade a couple weeks ago in Greensburg? I didn't make it, but I heard there were tons of cool trucks there.

Here is a brochure pic of the new Pinnacle from Mack! Looks pretty much like a Vision, but the cab is all redesigned.
