I think the best thing to do if interested in the trucks is call the guy and ask if the velocity stack in the interior pic was an older pic of the trucks interior and was it taken off cause I see a lot more white paint on the truck with the engine pic which clearly has the velocity stack on it and the pic with the whole truck and you can see the velocity stack is shorter but the truck has brown primer on it now same truck just more brown primer maybe the stack was taken off at a later date ???? maybe he can send you more pic to prove its the same truck ????? lol the velocity stack mystery can it be solved ?????
-
If you look at the engine pic you can se it has a tail breather and the truck has more white paint on it looks like that might be an older pic of it cause the same truck has a lot of brown primer on it now it looks like he took the tail breather off it not sure you will have to call and ask what's up with that

That's my plan new glass dark tint after inspection new chrome and paint the rims red again with beauty rings and caps new stacks 5" diameter miter cut its all ordered and most of it is here and going on it I will drive it like that for a few years then I will do it right
-
Ok I will stick with the new one that was ordered. The company that I ordered it from takes the order and u wait till it is ready to be shipped and then you pay for it 4 to 6 weeks it will be ready for me. Yes the red truck that I use in my posts is the burnt truck and it was in a building that burnt down its running now just have to re wirier it and see what works and fix it like head lights and running lights clean up and fix dash that kind of thing.

I have spent so much money on fixing this burnt truck and the harness I have coming is lots of money to. I was wondering if anyone had a used harness they could sell me to keep my cost down a bit on the restoration of this truck. I will pay for the new one if its the only way to go but just thought someone might have a good used one I could get for a lot cheaper then new. The new harness will be ready in 4 to 6 weeks so mean wail if I can find a alternative way to go less expensive that would be a big help. Can anyone help me out? Thanks Mike Bryan.

It Might b the bottom one. f it has female thread and it measure's 2-1/2" inside diameter. Possibly the silver one would work if it has the same measurements to get me by till I find the original ones. Thanks for the reply. Mike Bryan.

Well I got the fire truck now to put the fire out with. We brought the truck across the boarder 2 weekends ago. My buddy ahead of me with the fire truck went through the Blain boarder back to Canada. My buddy went first through the boarder check with the fire truck. He was talking to the boarder lady in the both with the truck shut of a min and a half went by and all of a sudden the truck let out this huge back fire and the lady in the both eyes popped out of her head and asked, WHAT WAS THAT? My buddy grabbed the steering wheel and explained IT WAS THE TRUCK IT WAS THE TRUCK IT BACK FIRED. She got out of the both and started yelling it ok it was only a back fire its ok there was grads running around by then wondering what had just happened lol she got on her shoulder radio and said stand down it was only a back fire. To funny we had them all going at the boarder that's for sure my buddy said to the lady I guess that's not a good thing to happen around her she said no not right now especially after what's been happening around here lately.
