And I have not hooked the airlines up to a trailer yet. When I'm doing this the trailer brake valve is out. I did push it in and the air was leaking down checked the junction block on the fire wall and it's still hot. Strange.
-
Alright I'm finishing up my 1986 Superliner build and the red wire that goes to the brake lamps for the trailer in the trailer connector is always hot. The tractor brake lamps work normal. I know a easy fix would be jump the wire from the tractor brake lamps to the trailer red wire but I kinda want to fix it the correct way. Any help would be great.

I replaced the entire headlamp assemblies. It's gotta be in the wiring.

Ok so on my project Superliner when I have the headlamps on the inside head lights come on instead of the outside. Any one run into this before? The inside should come on when the high beams are activated. It's like they are backwards. Please help .

Yes, it doesn't list a measurement for your custom application. With a frame depth of 9.5", I would make a height gauge at 5 3/8" as a starting point similar to the ones shown in the pdf.
Have you checked the pinion angles of the rear axles? Improper driveline angles will lead to vibration.
No I haven't. Not sure exactly how to do that but I thought by getting the correct air ride height it would correct that as well

Some more info. A couple different measurements mentioned.

That bulletin still doesn't specify what the proper ride height should be with a 9.5 inch tall frame with al or al II suspension and Mack rears.
-
So I did measure my superliner that's on camelbacks front rear from the top of rear housing on the left side to the top of the bottom frame rail and that measured 6 3/4 inches. Would it make since to set the air ride truck to the same measurement since it uses the same axle housings and the same frame rails? Again the superliners use a frame that's not as tall as a ch so there for I don't believe there is documentation on the proper ride height for this set up. And I don't think the Hendrickson suspension was ever available from the factory on frame rails as short as ours.

I actually have this bulliten but our superliners only have 9.5 inch tall frames and that document states for frames with 10.47 inches and 11.81 inches. I'm thinking since my frame is not as tall those measurements wouldn't be correct. Agreed?

Has anyone figured out the proper ride height on the Hendrickson air ride under a superliner? We recently put a ch air ride under ours and am getting s bad viberation. Any help would be great.

Any idea where I could buy a new or used superliner fuel tank? My passengers side is rough and would love to replace it.

4.73 with a 18 speed....that think just not have very much top end. And looks like a Canadian spread as well.

Sure doesn't look like 227 inch wheel base either! I'm thinking more like 199!

dds92780, the sub is a 12 inch subwoofer that I made a box for. its sitting on the floor with it slightly tapered up in the front and the amp is mounted on the back. The rears are 4.64 and with the 9 speed it does 75 mph on the top end. Gets 6 mpg all day. As far as the tractor total weight Ive never weighted it by its self but I would guess around 17k lbs. the truck is great and Ive replaced all kinds of parts on it. Just recently Ive replaced the clutch 2 weeks ago with a brand new one. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck anywhere! The truck came with no outside air cleaner. Some superliners did and some didn't.

Your crazy to sell that thing! But I guess you have your reasons. Good luck selling her, and hope you don't grow to regret it.
