I have the Bibeau BFL-S box on my freightliner. I love it. It is light weight and tough as nails. I am hauling class B rip-rap (200 to 800lb) boulders and barely a dent in the floor and no dents in the sides. The only option I don't have is the highlift. It adds about 500lbs to the total weight of the truck. It also adds some maintenance to the truck. The company I bought the truck from stopped ordering them for that reason. Now we just order the extended hinges and haven't had any issues. I will try to get a picture of the hinges tomorrow.

On the diesel the air cleaners work good. The gas trucks not so much. Exhaust helps but best bang for buck is the reprogramming. Don't waste your money on a hand held programmer. Use someone who programs with EFI live. I've done the others and was not impressed. Gas motors program way different than the diesels. You might only gain 25HP with the tune on the gas. You will notice the mpg improvement if you can keep your foot out of it. If you tune with the intake and exhaust you will have the best gains. But if you are on a budget the tune alone is the best money spent.

Don't waste your money. The oils mess up your map sensor s if not applied correctly. Spend the same money and get it tuned by black bear performance, Nelson, or westers. I recommend the first. He tuned my gmc6.0 and it runs hard. He tuned my neighbors 5.3 and he is getting around 20mpg with it. Way more bang for buck.

We only got down to -17f with windchill of 48 below. What's bad is I'm getting used to it and spent most of the day outside.

I have a liner in my aluminum box. I also haul whatever will fit. The liner is 6 years old and looks like new. If you get one, get the 1/2 or 3/8 asphalt liner. Just my $.02

Did you check brake chambers on trailer? Sounds like one might be leaking. If you've never worked on a brake chamber ask for professional help. There's a spring inside that can kill you.

Yes, the rear axle wears out 2 to 1 compared to the front axle. I don't have parking brakes on the rear.

My one does the ssme thing. Mack told me it was common with the older Macks. Does yours have parking brakes on both axles?

I've had the same problem as superdog mentions. Ended up taking pass tank off because I didn't need the capacity.

I would be scared,to drive any of those trucks in Puerto Rico. I rented a Pontiac G6 when I was there and was scared to drive. Reminds me of the stories you hear of driving in Italy. Nicest people I've ever met. just a different driving style. Lol. Wife and I can't wait to go back.

that will suck! but it doesn't surprise me. he has been taking alot of time off. wouldn't be surprised if housby loses Mack to Gatr. they never have any trucks parts, and the service is starting to go down hill. The guys are geeat to work with, but the upper management seems to only care about the big contracts like Caseys and the VOCON auctions. the only way you can buy a used truck is at auction.

they are not expensive. I did mine 8 years ago and just remember thinking the bill wasn't that bad. as far as working, I absolutely love it. I've never been stuck in my RS. I've drug the pumpkin and walked right through.

can get a reman from Drew at housby for around $5000. I have about $7000 in my e6-300 inframe last month. that is with all new valves and reworked heads.

tried that. mack pto is a different animal.

where do you get small air cylinders? I can fab tbr brackets no problem. I have all the controls.
