  1. I agree about the green and brown high binder. It looks strange. The fenders are higher than on the other trucks.

My father just called an N model Ford a two story falcon a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember hearing that growing up.

I said the Reo was the china closet, but it was really the Diamond T. I don't know if they had a knick name for the Reo's.

Here is a better better picture of my AC pumper since someone asked about it even though it has nothing to do with cabovers.

    Mike

    that is a beauty !!

  2. My guess is that yes we have to respect Mr.Sssick and Hank's truck , but when you have to copyright a picture

that you take I guess it is far fetched , are they making any money with those pics ??

You can take any of my pics and do whaterver you want about it , they are taken with pleasure for my pleasure and the pleasure of the others , being so open on freedom of many things and being so tight on copyright for pictures .

He was polite in his request and Barry was polite but also clear on the response which is a very good thing between the two communications, we can see that they are adults in treating this mather .

    my 02 cents

  3. Maybe I'm a glass half full guy, but I think Volvo really does know and respect Mack to a certain extent. I mean here we are some 12 years into this and Mack is still here. A guy can still spec a "Mack" truck that has a Mack hood, cab, interior, transmission, axles, and a motor tuned and programmed by Mack engineers. No one in this global economy can go it alone anymore and this marriage has gone better than many others. In fact, if Volvo owning Mack "is a crime" than what GM did to Saab should be considered man-slaughter! Remember the "Trollblazer"? Simply a re-badged Trailblazer for the SUV shopping Saab faithful. No wonder Saab is dead!

Could Mack have been better without Volvo? Who knows? Maybe, but it could also have been worse than it is now, a lot worse.

Maybe Mack would have been gone without Volvo help , but it doesn't mean that Mack as to disapear under the name of Volvo !
