  1. Sorry, I have been offline for awhile. The trailer is still available.
  2. Right now it is a gooseneck but it can be switched to 5th wheel in a couple minutes. Thank you.
  3. I am selling my 2004 Take 3 53 foot step deck trailer. The trailer is in great shape and has seen very little use the past 2 years which is the reason I am selling. I can't justify keeping something I don't use even if it is very versatile. The trailer has 3 8,000 pound axles and a 10,000 pound winch with remote. There are pull out rear ramps and flip down ramps for the top deck. There are also 2 lockable tool boxes and an open belly storage area for cribbing. There are also front and rear flip outs so you can haul 4 cars on this trailer. Trailer is located in Hopewell,NJ. I am asking $9,000 obo. Thank you.
  4. I am selling my Companion hitch, which I unfortunately no longer have a need for. The hitch is in almost new condition, I only towed with it about a half dozen times. It will work with any truck that has a B+W turnover gooseneck ball. It is rated at 18,000 pounds. This hitch retails for $870, I would like to get $650 obo. The hitch is located in Furlong,Pa which is right near the border with central NJ. Thank you!
  5. Are there any b42's left? Could you pm me your phone number? I would like to get the yard address so I can take a ride over. Thank you.
  6. Also I am looking for a diferent rear ratio to make my truck a little more highway friendly.
  7. If the b42 was in good shape I would buy the whole thing. Could you find out a price for me? I am only about a half hour from Philly. To be specific though I could use a new hood latch, door glass, a glove box door and a bunch of other stuff. Thank you!
  8. Please let me know if there are any b42's left. I have a 59 and need some parts. Thank you!
  9. How much are you looking to get for them? Either together or just the blue one.
  10. Hey guys I need some new glass for my driver and passenger side doors of my 1959 B42. Thank you in advance for any help.
  11. Hey guys. I have a set of fenders and hood off a b47 that unfortunately I need to get rid of because of lack of space. We just purchased a b42 single axle dump that was repowered with a 673 out of a b47. The guy got the fenders and hood from the b47 when the engine was swapped so I got them when we bought the truck. Anyway the hood is in very good shape, the fenders are decent but not great. I will take some pictures tomorrow. Make me an offer or let me know what you have to trade. Thank you.
  12. I did not get a chance to crawl under it today. I will do it tomorrow and post what I find. The trans does shift like the pattern label. I talked to the previous owner today and he said the engine and trans came out of a B47 and he pulled the pattern label from that truck and put it in this one. Also the museum called today, the truck is a 1959.
  13. Well, I got her home safe and sound along with a pickup load of extra parts. I also called the museum and am awaiting info on the year. Here are some pictures. Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
  14. I will take a picture of the shift pattern as soon as I get it home. The main is on the left and the aux. is the right stick it has a low/low up to the left, a low up to the right and a direct below the low. I remember reading somewhere that some gas B42 dumps had a 14 tri plex and this truck was a gas job originally. I am hoping that if it is the original trans it will hold up to the torque of the 673 although the owner says they did the engine swap many years ago.
  15. Thank you everyone for all your help! I will be calling the museum in the morning. I will post some pictures as soon as we get it home. We hope to have it at the Macungie show. We go every year but this will hopefully be our first as participants. Also does anyone have any info on the trans? I have not been able to find out a lot about the 14 speed tri plex. Thanks again.
  16. Good evening. My Dad and I are about to take the plunge and buy our first B. We have been eyeing one by us for a little while and we have finally been able to come to agreement on the price with the seller. Our problem is that we are having a hard time identifying the year. The seller says the title labels it as a 48, which is obviously impossible. He says he thinks it is actually a 53 which we are skeptical about. The vin number he gave us is B42X18000, which from the best we could tell would make it an early 60's? The truck is a single axle dump with a 673 engine, not original, and a 14 speed tri plex which we are told is original. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are going to get the truck Tuesday regardless but we would still like any help with the truck. Also how would we go about changing the title to reflect the correct year? Thank you for any help, I am sure this will be the first of many posts as we enter the wonderful world of Macks.
