I have recently replaced all my fuel lines on my Detroit and I think a couple are crossed. Can anyone provide a diagram showing the proper flow path on this engine with the two filter setup? Thanks in advance. Danny

Superdog, the last time I checked that was the price I was quoted also. Since I already have the Neway I will continue with that. Vlad, I have read what you were referring to with those bushings also. That is why I raised the question. If I am using the axles and air ride from the donor truck and putting it on my chassis and the Brackets are aligned wouldn't it all be aligned? As Mr Hancock stated the pinion angles and ride height would have to be taken care though.

Ok here we go, I am currently restoring a 1975 Bighorn. I know , not a Mack but I have owned and driven many Macks. I feel this is the best forum to get the best advise. IThe truck originally had walking beam and I have purchased a tandem Neway Air Ride off a mid seventies KW. I have the Neway all torn down ready for stripping and new bushings. My current frame has a couple bolt holes that could be used for starting points for measuring with the front mounting bracket. My question is: if I line up the brackets, cross measure everywhere so all four are drilled and mounted and aligned with each other, will I need to have the suspension all realigned when completed or will it be close enough for a hobby truck? I have access to a mag drill from a friend who has drilled frames. Any and all comments are welcome. Thank you.

That MACK IS OWNED BY Mark Hothmer from the KIngston, NY area. I met Mark about 15 years ago at Macungie when I wondered up to visit with him about his Mack. WE have been good friends ever since and evey time I go to Macungie we split the room. Mark is one of the most interesting and funny characters you would ever meet. Once he gets started with the stories they are one after another and your sides will be hurting! One saying of his I remember is " Life is like a shit sandwich. The more bread you got the less shit you gotta eat" He is a retired union Cement mixer driver. That Mack of his has at least 44000# rears and beats him up pretty bad and as he has gottin older he prefers to take a old Ford pickup to enter in the shows. If ever you are at a show and see a man walking around with a white towel around his neck, that is Mark. I guarantee if you introduce yourself that you won't regret it!

Welcome aboard!! A couple things could also be an issue. The fuel return line could have a restriction. The fuel supply line could have crack and drawing some air, maybe a loose fitting. Also the supply line could have a weak spot and partially collapsing after a while. Good luck, Danny

Mike, I do not know what he is asking. My guess the truck would be in the 2-3 ton range. You'd have to give him a call.
