I don't know why some of the words are underlined? Maybe I should cut back on the Captain Morgans.

I have a Superliner that im actually taking the dual stacks off if anyone want to buy a wye pipe or left side stand. I wanted a single stack so soot doesn't land on my tank all the time. But I do like the look of the dual stack on one side.

Jeff, Im next door to u in New Gloucester. I thought the town of Raymonds B model was sold to Copp Motors and they put a 5-6 yard dump on it? Maybe it came from another town. Oh well. doug

I posted this here because Im told the truck came from New Jersey. Does anyone recognize this name on the door . Its a Brockway located in Maine . The door says "Your Friend" Barnes Const. , paving, cement work, septic tank service. Maybe someone knows how to decipher the old phone number and tell what state it is. The truck was a dump truck. Thanks, doug

yes it looks decent in pics but is kinda rough but anything is rebuildable. All the sheet metal is bent, broke, rusted through. Cab is really rough , not much floors left there is wooden planks laid across with a milk crate for a seat. Fuel tank is shot and on and on.

Heres a B81 I looked at in Northern Maine a few weeks ago. http://maine.craigslist.org/atq/4050361163.html
It is all running Im told but didn't bother starting it as it was a little rougher than I wanted. The asking price is $5k and he wouldn't budge. I think it was hauled up here from Mass possibly. The owner used it to plow his camp road. Does anyone recognize this truck or have any history? Heres a pic I took. Thanks, doug

The engine is a 3cyl Detroit , that runs beautiful. I think the crane came originally from a base in Maryland possibly based on notes in the parts book. It went from being owned by the Navy to Harley Davidson in Pennsylvania to George and Jim Humphrey in Maine. Humphrey was a Mack truck restorer and has owned it for the last 20yrs until selling to me. Im having a lot of fun with getting it operational and the time has started to pay off as its all working now. It will take some time to finish but I will use it at our shop yard. The next step is putting the gearboxes back together and replacing all the air lines and some hydraulic line. The pic is loading it up at Humphreys Garage to haul back to my shop. Jim Humphrey in the red hat.

This is why I haven't been working on the Superliner pump truck lately. This is a crane I have been working on with a few friends this summer. Im pretty excited because it has been unable to swing/rotate for the last 20+ years. We just got it fixed so it now swings , it took about a couple of months of weekends and nights. It is a UNIT 1520CE .

It been a year this week since I got truck and haven't done a lot. Moved into garage yesterday and hope to poke away at it. Going to change it to one stack for starters.
