I'll help.....Mr kscarble might have the answer

A few TDI nerds have been reporting over speed of the turbo and something known as "boost creep" as a result of gutting the exhaust systems in favor of free flowing straight pipes....
Basically with nothing to hold the turbo back, an over boost condition occurs, and extremely high (dangerously) turbine speeds.....
I know, little motors vs big motors, but food for thought.
I'd imagine however, the 4" down pipe would choke it back a little anyway

Right Hand side of steering column, looks like aturn signal stock but doesn't move........there's two buttons on the face and a rocker on the end. The buttons are "back" /closest to the wheel) and enter, the rocker is up down. Hit enter and you'll get the main screen and then the OS alarm in somewhere in set-up....

What trans and how hot.....
Most Fullers are good to about 250*, maybe higher, might be 350....after that the heat wrecks the heat-treating of the gears.....I commonly get 200* from my 8LL in the summer

Throttle is likely ether a varible resistance switch or potentiameter (sp?). To check a variable resistance switch you need a multimeter set to ohms (not sure the range) and hook the leads to the throttle wires and test resistance from idle to WOT....some one here might have the values for high/low.....infinite resistance indicates an open circuit.....

Get it sorted?

Generation. Can't recall the years but they are both granites. The numbers on Newer granites (for sure, older ones too maybe) are:
7 - axle forward
8 - axle back
1 - mack engine
2 - vendor engine (?)
The last number is the number of axles
ie my 2011 GU813 has a sba an mp7 and is a triaxle chassis.

Our mack dealer dropped Mack from the sign completely....now it's "Vision".....
