  1. Thats what i thought, just wanted a second opinion. theres a spring shop right in town i'll bring the truck there in the next week or so.
  2. Vinny your giant bold letters scared me when i scrolled down, and yeah i smell what your stepping in but i think mine leans more than yours
  3. My U685 leans to the driver side if you look at it from the front, its not the cab mounts cause those have been replaced, it looks to be the leaf springs, cause its not just the cab thats leaning its the hood and bumper too which leads me to believe its a spring issue. should i look into replacing the front springs? or possibly beefing up the driver side leafs? also is this a common problem with U's and DM's that have the offset cab

  5. A B66 is super rare though they only made roughly 200 of those B65's and 67's are alot more common
  6. It could also be a B65, but i cant see if its a B67 short nose or not
  7. Sounds like your moving right along there vinny. email me some pictures.
  8. I know, it was way to nice to be cutting up
  9. i've seen bits and pieces of this movie it kind of reminds me of Duel with the crazy truck driver.
  10. From 2004- 2008 my dad owned this mint B95 he traded it for his white B61 diesel that ive posted a picture of before. I was young at the time but i absoloutely loved this truck it was gorgeous. It was from the Durham New Hampshire Fire Dept. and had a 707 gas engine and a 5 speed. i know that the next owner cut the body off and took the pump out. I was wondering if anyone knows where the truck is now or if its still in existence. Thanks, Eric
  11. Thanks vinny that'll help me i got a silver dog i can paint up because the jb weld didnt hold on my gold one.
  12. Looking good vinny ive been working on my u-model today to. ive been scraping old grease and old paint off the frame and repainting it black.
  13. Im not sure where you can get those brackets they came with the truck
  14. The maxidyne logo on there was hard to find in the mack script. i found one picture on google of it and had my vinyl guy make a decal of it
  15. I Jb welded the leg on for now. I have other chrome ones i could paint. Vinny what did u use for paint and how'd it come out?
  16. do you think you could send me one?
  17. Im looking for a vintage gold bulldog hood ornament. Mine has a broken leg. Preferably the vintage long eared version. i'd rather not pay hundreds for a new current production one. greatly appreciated if you have one your willing to sell. thanks
  18. the maxidyne was the best diesel engine produced in my opinion, you cant kill it. and they designed it to run efficiently on 5 and 6 speed transmissions and still perform like a 10 speed. their awesome
