Maybe it was but it definetly wasn't in steer mode. It never turned from what I can see. They only steer them when they need them. Friend of mine has 1 and he never steers unless they need it
Yes sleepwalker is correct you only steer the dolly in when needed if not it stays locked.

Upon further review...it definitely looks like it is "dog tracking".
Agree with farmer the dolly got out of line when coming out of the turn.

Park far from the restaurant at the truck stop. All the super drivers like to park in front of the entrance.

That's the way our '93's were wired up too.
The '85's and '87's were wired up through a parking brake switch.
I changed the '93's over to work the same way the older ones worked.
Don't remember how, was to many years ago!
Ron
Ron I have the wire diagram in my parts book, would that help Dennis?

Ok on my mh same year the brake lights are on when you are low on air pressure. The minute the pressure is up the brake lights turn off. I don't know if that is original but all works fine

I have 2010 model Volvo 670 cummins isx engine in my fleet and have an issue with the fuel consumption. The inboard computer tells me that the truck is doing 6.7 mpg, and tell me 400 gallons used, however if I get the fuel receipts I'm between 70 to 160 gallons more used the driver claims. I don't like to shout they steeling fuel unless I have the proof. Is there a fuel manage device available that could be installed on the truck that collects data to compare. I have calculated the miles driven divided by gallons used and get 5.9 miles per gallon. This is happening on two truck in a fleet of 22. Any advice would be great to resolve this mystery.
Next week we will start using our new fuel cards, so I hope that gives me more control and instant data since the drive has to put mileage before pumping.

They probably went to the local scrap yard and grabbed the quick cash.
Yahoo that fucker made $5 bucks at the scrap yard. I would say shoot first than ask if you caught them

BC your doing a hell of a job there. How is the motor? Do you have to do any to it? Can't wait to see the end result

Lol yup vero would be fine to meet. We'll let get it origenized.

Always keep the linkage well greased on an MH it will make shifting easier. Plus you want to take care of that part of it because the shifter linkage parts are getting harder to find for them.
Thanks bad dog get on it in the morning.

Don S at the Mack Museum once mentioned "slippery shit" used on the ball/socket at the cab shifter interface. Not sure what it is but you might send the Museum a note and ask the lube.
BTW, my shift is "sloppy". Tight would be better.
Ken do you have a 5 speed?
