Mike 796 Posted January 10, 2009 I'll have to look for that picture next time at my moms house. I know dad had that and someday i'll post a picture of him standing on top of their largest gun. A 240 long tom. He said his outfit A Battery had one, also B an C Batteries had them. The other guns were 155 Howitzers and 105s. My dad was the radio operator for the guns. Telling the men what the officers tent commanded them windage, elevation, and how many bags of powder to install in the breach. Thanks for sharing this! mike Quote Link to comment
