Truck1536 222 Posted January 3, 2006 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. These trucks ran on 14:00/24 rubber, double studded on the wheel spokes. They were nearly overweight running empty, with its' I-Beam chassis and its' large concrete carrying capacity. It was powered by a 237, with a 5X2 tranny with reverse on the hi-lo stick. ThaddeusW 56 Posted February 7, 2006 Wow what a truck! Too bad we dont know what happend to them . 17 yards is a whole lotta concrete, that must weigh about 70k! Truck looks like it could gross 100k. Quote Link to comment
60 B-81 0 Posted February 19, 2006 Great photos of gorilla-sized Macks! The CCC's they replaced these with can't hold a candle to them! Would love to see any other old NYC concrete truck photos you have, Mack or other breeds! Quote Link to comment
