Polishing cast aluminium

To have awesome looking aluminium on the front of your Mack do this. First get a good quality paint stripper and apply it to the paint you want removed. Scrape it off with a razor blade. It is best to use one that features a handle of some sort so you dont get stripper all over your hands. (gloves recomended)When you finish stripping clean it up with laquer thinner. After letting this dry it is time to use sandpaper. Start out with a grit above 100. When the desired area is all cleaned off move to an even higher grit. Now is the time for a two stage cleaner and final polish.Dont forget that a buffer is helpful at this point. Now you can enjoy your results. Also dont forget to use a final polish to buff more to clean as needed.
