As those who have been following my Mack Quantum rebuild thread know, I am a bit OCD when it comes to quality and reliability. Running out of money on that build actually pushed me back toward my professional roots—I have over 20 years of experience in electronics.

Recently, I have been diagnosing and fixing complex ECUs and controllers that other repairers gave up on (mostly for mates running French car wreckers), maintaining a 100% success rate. That experience made me realize there is a massive gap in the transport industry for specialized, component-level electronics support.

I am looking to pivot into the heavy transport sector and am launching an on-site ECU and controller repair service here in Melbourne.

What I offer:

• On-site Diagnostics & Repair: Fast turnaround to minimise your fleet downtime.
• Advanced Fault Finding: Pinpointing complex, intermittent ECU-related issues directly on the vehicle.
• Component-Level Repair: If it is not completely encased in solid epoxy resin, I can likely fix it.

What I am looking for:
I want to partner with a few local mechanical workshops. In exchange for your collaboration, I am offering a permanent, exclusive discount rate on all future repairs.

Initially, I just need two things from my founding partner shops:

1. Dead ECUs: Core units that are broken or deemed unfixable by others, so I can map common failure points (and most likely fix them).
2. Sensor Access: Permission to hook up a scope to running trucks to record clean sensor signals for my database.

During the initial rollout, complex repairs may take a few days while I scale up my local parts inventory. Once fully stocked, the goal is same-day turnaround for 99% of cases.
