Details are coming out about the new Cummins 'B' diesel, now at 7.2L..  2027 CARB/EPA compliant, a little more power than the current 6.7L, new exhaust aftertreatment, slightly heavier.  So far Isuzu has announced the 2007 F series will have it, wondering if Mack will offer it on the MD.

So far the gasoline fueled 'Octane' 6.7L will be offered in Kenworth medium duty trucks for 2026, but still have not heard anything official from anyone else.  Freightliner and Isuzu (maybe Chevy LCF too) are rumored.  How about a gasoline Mack MD?  First gas job Mack since the Chrysler powered R-410 from about 1971?
