Tennerman Posted September 1, 2020 Share Posted September 1, 2020 Hello all I have a 07 mp7 pre emissions that has a hard time starting have to pump the shit out of the primmer pump to get it to start and even after I get it started and let it run I can shut it off and it won’t start again unless I pump it up again so we done everything fuel related from the gear driven fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, new updated stainless steel injector cups and injectors. turckster Posted September 3, 2020 Share Posted September 3, 2020 When priming the fuel system is fuel leaking around the primer pump (little plastic cap next to pump handle)? If so, the o-ring below the plastic cap has eroded allowing it to suck air. The plastic cap can be replaced. Mack/Volvo should be able to get that part.
