Does anyone out there know were and what type generator i need. I would really like to keep this truck original,and i would be greatful for any help. I don't know what wouldbe original on your truck,but I still have the HUGE 12 volt generator and regulator that had been on my EH when I bought it. Set up for dual 5/8 belts,and worked fine,but I changed it over to an alternator mainly for reliability. I was told the previous owner probably adjusted the six volt regulator up to 12 volts,and he may or may not have changed the generator over,the six volt one could produce 12 volts.(??) If you think you can use it,I'll send it to you for cost of shipping. Hi Pete; I'm guessing you want the regulator too;when we re-wired my truck I was going to put the fuse panel in the regulator box,but that wasn't possible so I just removed it and installed my fuse panel where the regulator was. It's pretty large but,it turns out,not large enough. Let me know,then I'll see what the shipping will be to you.
