Juice Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 hello guys hope some one can help? let me start buy saying i have been a mechanic for over 20 years and i need some help on this one. i have a 2001 rd 688s in the shop at about 800 rpm the malfunction lite comes on and the truck go's in derate mode i plug the computer in and it tells me the engine position sensor is bad change sensor same thing. I put it back on computer still saying bad position sensor so this time i changed the harnes for the sensor still no go. Also some times this truck will run for 2 or 3 days know problems.
