I got a e7 400 in the shop with a vibration from 800 to 1400 rpm I also get a malfunction lite only in that rpm range. Has any budy else had any thing like this. Thanks for Your time.

hello guys hope some one can help? let me start buy saying i have been a mechanic for over 20 years and i need some help on this one. i have a 2001 rd 688s in the shop at about 800 rpm the malfunction lite comes on and the truck go's in derate mode i plug the computer in and it tells me the engine position sensor is bad change sensor same thing. I put it back on computer still saying bad position sensor so this time i changed the harnes for the sensor still no go. Also some times this truck will run for 2 or 3 days know problems. Any help would be great im not one to keep throwing parts at it thanks agin.
