How to get a title from a Bill of Sale

I am in the process of buying a 1962 Dodge Power Wagon located in Ct that does not have a title. The owner will provide a Bill of Sale but I live in NJ and must obtain a title to register it. How do I go about this?

You can check online at your states DMV...in PA, my truck had only a New York registration and a bill of sale...PA sent me a new title right away, no hassles, It depends on the age, if the state it came from did not have titles (New York didnt start until early 70s), then your state should be able to issue one.
