DRUMMER35501 Posted February 1, 2007 Share Posted February 1, 2007 I just purchased a b61 and was wondering if it would be wise to rebuild the old thermodyne engine or replace it. I understand a 300 will bolt up since we are looking at replacing the old duplex with a eaton 9 or 10 speed. What do you guys think and how much would I be looking at cost wise to rebuild the old thermodyne. How much trouble is it to swap out the engine and tranny? Any sheet medal modifications needed.
